Police Seek Assistance in Locating Person of Interest in Fort Washington Double Homicide

Prince George’s County Maryland… The Prince George’s County Police Department’s Homicide Unit is seeking the public’s assistance in locating 34 year-old Quindell Mercer. Mercer is a person of interest in the investigation involving the murders of Patricia Mercer Harris and Frank Lamar Harris that occurred on August 4, 2011, in their home in Fort Washington, Maryland.

Mercer is a family member of both victims and his whereabouts are unknown at this time. Mercer is currently wanted on unrelated outstanding assault warrants in North Carolina. Anyone seeing or making contact with Mercer is asked to call 911.
