UPDATE-Arrest Made In College Park Citizen Robbery

The Prince George's County Police Department has made an arrest in the strong-arm robbery that occurred in College Park on June 8, 2012. A citizen saw the surveillance video which helped the police find the suspect. On June 12, at approximately 7:20 p.m., District I Robbery Suppression Team (RST) detectives canvassed the area of the 8200 block of Baltimore Avenue, College Park when they saw a suspect that matched the description of the suspect in this incident.  Detectives attempted to stop the suspect but he ran off. After a short foot chase, the suspect was stopped and identified as James Turner.  Turner was transported to District I Investigative Section where he waived his rights and confessed to his involvement in the College Park robbery.
