The Prince George’s County Police, in partnership with the Maryland State Police and Anne Arundel County Police, will be conducting “Operation Road Runner" this weekend. The traffic initiative will target speeding motorcyclists along a 14-mile stretch of Route 50.
"I appreciate the partnership and support of the Maryland State Police and Anne Arundel County Police as we conduct cooperative traffic enforcement initiatives. These and other coordinated efforts will continue as we work together to make Maryland safer," said Chief Mark Magaw.
“This is a traffic and public safety concern that crosses jurisdictional boundaries and we believe coordinating our efforts will lead to a more successful enforcement initiative,” said Captain Clifford Hughes, Commander of the Maryland State Police Washington Metro Troop. “Our goal is to provide effective enforcement that addresses the issue of speeding and reckless driving by motorcyclists, while increasing the level of safety for motorists on roads in Prince George’s County and the Washington Metro region.”

Won't catch me out there.
So speeding 6000lb SUVs get a free pass this weekend? How about instead of harassing a particular type of vehicle, the police enforce the law universally and fairly? Motorcyclists aren't the only people that exceed the speed limit.
I see the Maryland State Police have taken another liberty at violating people's rights by singling out motorcyclists
