(Update) Prince George’s County Police Re-arrested Michael Brochu For Sexual Offense

On Monday, August 27th, Prince George’s County Police re-arrested Michael Brochu and charged him with third and fourth degree sex offense as well as second degree assault. The investigation revealed that Brochu encountered an 11-year-old boy at a local pool in Bowie and sexually abused him between June 27, 2011 through August 19, 2011. 
   
The Prince George’s County Police Department's Child and Vulnerable Adult Unit has charged Michael David Brochu, 62, of the 3900 block of Croydon Lane in Bowie, with several charges of sexual assault of a minor. 

The investigation revealed that Brochu sexually abused a 10-year-old boy in his home in Bowie between April 1, 2011 through June 30, 2012.  The boy, a family friend, was visiting Brochu.  Police charged Brochu with sex abuse of a minor; third degree sex offense; and second degree assault. 

Brochu is also charged with sexually abusing a 6-year-old family member on June 21, 2012, while they were at pool in Bowie.  He’s charged with sex offense of a minor and third degree sex offense.

The investigation also revealed that Brochu sexually abused an 8-year-old boy in Brochu’s home in Bowie between September 1, 2011 through July 31, 2012.  Brochu had temporary supervision of the victim. Brochu has been charged with perverted practice and fourth degree sex offense.

On August 3, 2012, Brochu was charged with one case. He was subsequently charged with two additional cases on August 7, 2102.
