The Prince George's County Police Department announces the arrest of 54 year-old Theandre Moore in connection with a bank robbery in Seat Pleasant.  Moore is from the 4400 block of Minnesota Avenue, Northeast, Washington, DC.

On January 8, 2013, at approximately 9:00 am, patrol officers responded to the Bank of America in the 5800 block of Martin Luther King Jr. Highway for a robbery.  The suspect had approached a teller, implied he had a weapon, and made off with an undisclosed amount of money.

The PGPD released the suspect's description, including the fact that he appeared to have a skin condition.  A description of the suspect's vehicle was also passed on to our law enforcement partners in the region.

While on routine patrol, police officers with the Metropolitan Police Department spotted a vehicle that matched the one wanted in connection with the bank robbery.  Police officers stopped the vehicle.  The driver, Theandre Moore, also matched the suspect description.  Moore was placed into custody by MPD for a traffic violation.  During the course of the investigation, Moore admitted his involvement in the bank robbery.  He is currently in Washington, D.C. awaiting extradition to Maryland.
