Homicide Unit detectives are working to
identify and arrest the suspect(s) who shot and killed a man Friday evening in
Langley Park. The victim is 22-year-old Carlos Sanchez-Cabrera of Merrimac
Drive in Langley Park. A reward of up to $25,000 is being offered for
information leading to an arrest and indictment in this case.
On June 2nd, at about 10:50 pm,
patrol officers responded to the 8200 block of 14th Avenue for the
report of a shooting. Upon arrival, the officers found the victim outside
suffering from gunshot wounds. He was taken to the hospital where he was
pronounced dead.
Detectives are working to
establish a suspect(s) and motive in this case.
