PGPD Investigating Fatal Pedestrian Collision in Landover

The Prince George’s County Police Department’s Collision Analysis and Reconstruction Unit is investigating a fatal collision in Landover involving a pedestrian. The victim is 58-year-old Leonard Marshall of Ohio Avenue in Landover.

On October 30th, at approximately 8:00 pm, patrol officers were called to Landover Road at Kent Town Place.

The preliminary investigation reveals a car traveling northbound on Landover Road attempted to make a left turn onto Kent Town Place. While making that turn, the car struck an SUV that was heading southbound on Landover road. That collision caused the SUV to lose control and leave the roadway, striking Marshall who was walking on a sidewalk. He was pronounced dead on the scene. Both drivers remained on the scene. The SUV’s driver suffered what appear to be minor injuries.

Anyone with information on this case is asked to call the Collision Analysis and Reconstruction Unit at 301-731-4422.
