The Prince George’s County Police Department’s Collision Analysis and Reconstruction Unit has assumed the investigation into a now fatal pedestrian hit-and-run that occurred in the city of Seat Pleasant. The deceased pedestrian is 25-year-old Antone Brooks of Upper Marlboro.
On July 26, 2025, at approximately 9:45 pm, officers with the Seat Pleasant Police Department responded to the 9000 block of Central Avenue for a pedestrian collision. The victim was located in the roadway and transported to the hospital. He died on July 27, 2025.
The preliminary investigation indicates the victim was struck by two drivers who were traveling in the eastbound lanes. Neither driver stopped. One of the striking vehicles is possibly a white compact sedan.
The Prince George’s County Police Department investigates all fatal collisions that occur in the city of Seat Pleasant.
