The Prince George’s County Police Department’s Homicide Unit is investigating a fatal shooting that occurred Saturday night. The victim is 31-year-old Deon Damien Thomas of Washington, DC. A reward of up to $25,000 is being offered for information leading to an arrest and indictment in this case.
On July 12, 2025, at approximately 8:20 pm, officers responded to a shooting in the 5000 block of Indian Head Highway in Oxon Hill. Officers located Thomas outside suffering from a gunshot wound. He was pronounced dead on the scene.
