John Kuo/MVA Administrator, Chief Magaw, Chief Davis, Tom Gianni/MD Highway Safety Ofc Chief

The Prince George’s County Police Department was honored by the Maryland State Highway Safety Office for our commitment to reducing traffic-related deaths and improving safety on our roadways.  Chief Mark Magaw and former Assistant Chief and now Anne Arundel County Police Department Chief Kevin Davis received awards on behalf of the department.  The awards were handed out at the Maryland Chiefs of Police Association and Maryland Sheriffs’ Association (MCPA-MSA) annual conference in Ocean City.

Traffic safety is a top priority for the Prince George’s County Police Department.  So far this year, there’s been a nearly 10 percent drop in traffic-related deaths compared to 2012.
