PGPD Investigates Murder in Fort Washington


Updated September 19, 2013:  The victim is identified as 19-year-old Kquante Markis Fisher of the 6100 block of Kildare Court in Fort Washington.  Anyone with information on this murder is urged to call Crime Solvers at 1-866-411-TIPS.  A cash reward is being offered for information leading to an arrest and indictment in this case.

The Prince George’s County Police Department is investigating a murder in Fort Washington.

On September 18, 2013, at about 9:25 am, patrol officers were called to the 6100 block of Kildare Court for a welfare check. Upon arrival, patrol officers found an adult male inside the home suffering from an apparent gunshot wound. He was pronounced dead on the scene.

Detectives are working to identify the suspect(s) in this case. Preliminarily, it appears this was not a random murder.
