PGPD Seeks Community’s Help in Finding Jewelry Store Robbery Suspects

The robbers spent hours in an Oxon Hill jewelry store and made off with an estimated $500,000 worth of jewelry.  They broke in through the roof in the middle of the night and then lowered tools down through that hole.  They then spent hours inside using a blow torch to break into the side of a safe.  Detectives working the case are sharing this video in an attempt to generate tips and help get justice for the business owners.

This robbery took place at Rivertowne Jewelers in the 6100 block of Oxon Hill Road in Oxon Hill in May.

For members of the media, there is additional video available, including surveillance video, of the crime at Prince George’s County Police Headquarters.
