The Prince George’s County Police Department is proud to announce the graduation of 36 recruits from the Prince George’s County Police Department’s Training Academy. Of the 36 graduates, 31 will join us here at the PGPD. Of the remaining five, one will continue work with the Prince George’s County Fire Department as a fire investigator, one will join Maryland National Capital Park Police – Prince George’s County Division, and three will join the Prince George’s County Office of the Sheriff.
Among the graduates, the oldest is 53 years old, the youngest is 22. We’re also proud to announce that two of the graduates are the brothers of two PGPD officers. Five of the graduates served in the military. We’re looking forward to officially welcoming them all to the PGPD family tomorrow.
