On September 20, 2015, at about 10:30 pm, patrol officers
were called to the 2400 block of Greeley Place for the report of a
shooting. When they arrived, they found Johnson
suffering from gunshot wounds. He died a short time later at a
hospital. A second victim was also shot. His injuries are not believed to
be life-threatening.
Preliminarily, the investigation reveals Moore and at least two other suspects were involved in Johnson’s murder. Detectives believe this began as a robbery. Moore is charged with First Degree Murder. He was arrested in Northeast, Washington, DC on September 23, 2015, where he remains in custody pending extradition to Prince George’s County.
