Update in Investigation in Springdale Homicide


The Prince George’s County Police Department Homicide Unit released surveillance video and new details in its investigation in to the fatal shooting of a Springdale man last week. The victim, 59-year-old Bernard Parker of Utica Place, was shot in his car not far from his home on November 10th.


Detectives today released surveillance video of the victim driving in his neighborhood moments before the shooting. The preliminary investigation reveals the victim was not travelling with the shooter. Detectives believe the suspect was outside of the car.

Investigators are working to identify the motive and suspect in this fatal shooting. A reward of up to $25,000 is being offered for information that leads to an arrest and indictment in this case.
