PGPD Investigates Fatal Shooting in Glenarden

Homicide Unit detectives are actively working to identify and arrest the suspect(s) who recently shot and killed a man in the City of Glenarden. The victim is 29-year-old Curtis Jerron Stevenson of the Woodlawn area. Preliminarily, detectives do not believe this was a random crime.

On May 14^th, at approximately 9:40 pm, officers responded to the 2900 block of Reed Street for a shooting. Responding officers located the victim suffering from gunshot wounds. He was taken to a hospital for treatment. Stevenson died of his injuries two days later.

Detectives are working to establish a motive and identify suspect(s).

PGPD Investiga Mortal Tiroteo en Glenarden

Detectives de la Unidad de Homicidios buscan identificar y arrestar al sospechoso(s) que recientemente mató a tiros a un individuo en Glenarden. La víctima fue identificada como Curtis Jerron Stevenson, de 29 años de edad y vecino del área de Woodlawn. Preliminarmente, los detectives entienden que no se trata de un crimen al azar.

El 14 de mayo, a eso de las 9:40 de la noche, nuestros oficiales acudieron a la cuadra 2900 de Reed Street tras recibir información sobre un tiroteo. Al llegar al lugar, los oficiales hallaron a la víctima con múltiples heridas de bala. A éste le trasladaron a un hospital para recibir tratamiento. Stevenson murió de sus heridas dos días después.
