The Collision Analysis and Reconstruction Unit is investigating a fatal pedestrian collision that occurred early Sunday morning in Accokeek. The deceased pedestrian is 60-year-old Kenneth Langley of Parkersburg, West Virginia.
On August 2nd, at approximately 12:55 am, patrol officers were called to the 17000 block of northbound Indian Head Highway for a collision involving a pedestrian. The officers located the victim in the roadway. He was pronounced dead on the scene.
The preliminary investigation suggests Langley was in the roadway when he was struck by two vehicles traveling in the northbound lanes. Both of the involved drivers stayed on the scene. The preliminary investigation revealed the pedestrian was not in a crosswalk at the time.

PGPD Investiga Mortal Choque Contra Peatón en Accokeek
La Unidad de Análisis y Reconstrucción de Choques investiga un mortal choque contra peatón ocurrido temprano en la mañana del domingo en Accokeek. El fenecido peatón fue identificado como Kenneth Langley, de 60 años de edad y vecino de Parkersburg, West Virginia.
El 2 de agosto, a eso de las 12:55 am, oficiales del Condado acudieron a la cuadra 17000 de Indian Head Highway–ruta norte tras recibir información sobre un choque peatonal. Los oficiales hallaron a la víctima en la carretera. Este fue declarado muerto en la escena.
