PGPD Investigates Sexual Assault in Forestville


The Prince George’s County Police Department is searching for a man who sexually assaulted a woman in Forestville.

On May 31, 2013, around 1:30 am, the victim was approached by the suspect as she walked inside an apartment building in the 2100 block of Brooks Drive.  The suspect grabbed the woman shortly after she entered the building and began to pull down her clothing.  The victim managed to fight off her attacker.  The suspect then ran from the scene.

Detectives are actively canvassing the area and following up on leads, in an effort to identify the suspect.

The suspect is described as a black male, 20-30 years old and approximately 5’9” with a thin build.  He has short hair, a medium complexion, and was last seen wearing dark clothing.
