The Prince George’s County Police Department is investigating a homicide in Landover. The victim is identified as 59-year-old Isaiah Williams of no fixed address.
On January 8, 2014, at about 10:50 am, patrol officers were called to the 2500 block of 50th Avenue in Landover for a welfare check. When they arrived, they found Williams suffering from upper body trauma inside a camping trailer. He was pronounced dead on the scene.
The preliminary investigation reveals the victim had been recently staying in the camping trailer. Detectives are working to identify a suspect(s) and motive in this case.
