The Prince George’s County Police
Department’s Collision Analysis and Reconstruction Unit is investigating what
caused a box truck to crash into a District Heights business.
On January 6, 2014, at about 10:30 pm,
patrol officers responded to the 6200 block of Marlboro Pike. When they arrived,
they discovered that the truck had crashed into the front of a tire business.
The driver and passenger suffered non-life threatening injuries. No other cars
were involved.
The preliminary investigation reveals
the truck was heading southbound on Marlboro Pike approaching Scott Key Drive
when for reasons which remain unclear, it left the roadway and collided into the
business.
