The Prince George’s County Police Department is investigating two possible weather-related deaths.
On January 23, 2016, at about 9:00 am, patrol officers responded to the 1200 block of Sandy Bar Drive in Fort Washington for the report of a possible weather-related death. The decedent is 60-year-old George Campbell. The decedent collapsed after shoveling snow outside of his home. There were no signs of foul play.
On January 25, 2016, at about 7:54 am, patrol officers responded to a parking lot in the 6300 block of Livingston Road for the report of a possible weather-related death. A snow removal crew had discovered the decedent while they were clearing the lot. He was pronounced dead on scene. The preliminary investigation reveals no signs of foul play. The decedent's name is unknown at this time.
