Detectives with our Homicide Unit are working
to identify a homicide victim who was located in Riverdale Sunday morning. The
victim is described as a Hispanic male approximately 35-40 years old. He does not have any distinguishing marks or tattoos on
his body. His name will be released once he’s been identified and after his
family is notified.
On July 16th, at about 4:10 am, patrol
officers responded to the 6200 block of 60th Avenue for a welfare
check. The officers discovered the victim in the roadway. He was pronounced
dead a short time later at a hospital. An
autopsy revealed the man died from multiple injuries unknown cause. The manner
of death was ruled a homicide.
Detectives are also working to identify the
suspect(s) and motive in this case.
