On October 11th, at approximately 7:25 pm, officers responded to the 1800 block of Metzerott Road for the report of a shooting. When they arrived, they found Bah in a parking lot suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. He was pronounced dead on the scene.
"Detectives are actively working the find out who killed Mamadou and why. What we know so far is the 22-year-old worked as a delivery driver and had only lived at the apartment on Metzerott Road for 2 weeks. Mamadou is from Guinea and we're told he came to the country to attend school. At this point in the investigation, we have not discovered a motive for this crime or identified anyone who may want to hurt him," said Major Brian Reilly, Commander of the Criminal Investigation Division.
Today's canvass will begin in the 1800 block of Metzerott Road starting at 1:00 pm.

víctima fue identificada como Mamadou Bah, de 22 años de edad y vecino de
Adelphi. Se ofrece recompensa de hasta $25,000 por información que lleve al
esclarecimiento del caso.
El 11
de octubre, a eso de las 7:25 pm, nuestros oficiales acudieron a la cuadra 1800
de Metzerott Road ante un reporte de tiroteo. Al llegar, encontraron a Bah con
múltiples heridas de bala en el estacionamiento. A éste le declararon muerto en
la escena.
“Nuestros
detectives se encuentran trabajando arduamente para determinar quién mató a
Mamadou y por qué. Lo que sabemos hasta ahora es que el joven de 22 años
trabajaba como conductor de entregas y solo llevaba viviendo en el apartamento
en la Metzerott Road unas 2 semanas. Mamadou era de Guinea y se nos informó que
vino al país para cursar estudios. En estos momentos de la investigación aun no
hemos establecido motivo para el delito ni tampoco identificado a alguien quien
hubiese querido hacerle daño,” dijo el Comandante Brian Reilly de la División
de Investigaciones Criminales.
