PGPD Investigates Assault at RJ Bentley's in College Park

The Prince George’s County Police Department is currently investigating an assault on a patron that occurred in College Park, Maryland, early Sunday morning. A 6’2”, 400 pound bouncer by the name of Marcus Anthony Plummer, 28, of Berwyn Heights, was working at RJ Bentley’s in College Park. The investigation revealed that the victim threw a drink at a patron inside the bar and was escorted out. The Victim attempted to return back to the bar when they were assaulted by Plummer.

The Victim is a 23 year -old member of the United States Air Force from Wyoming. He was not attending the University of Maryland and is currently assigned to Bolling Air Force Base. He was taken to the hospital where he was listed in critical condition. That status was changed to stable this morning. Plummer was charged with first degree assault, second degree assault, and reckless endangerment.
