PGPD Makes Quick Arrest in Oxon Hill Murder

Antjuon Onhale Riddick

The Prince George’s County Police Department arrested a suspect today in connection with Saturday’s murder in Oxon Hill. The suspect is 36-year-old Antjuon Riddick of the 500 block of Wilson Bridge Drive in Oxon Hill.

On August 23, 2014, at about 11:50 pm, patrol officers were called to the 5000 block of Glassmanor Drive for a shooting. Once on scene, officers discovered 36-year-old Kenneth Antoine Jones suffering from apparent gunshot wounds. Jones was pronounced dead on the scene.

Detectives believe the shooting stemmed from an argument between the two men. The investigation reveals Riddick showed up uninvited to a party the victim was attending on Glassmanor Drive.

Riddick is charged with first-degree murder and remains in custody with the Department of Corrections.
