PGPD Investigates Homicide in Landover




Updated November 17, 2014:  Homicide detectives released this Crime Solvers flyer seeking information in this case. Updated November 16, 2014: The victim is identified as 32-year-old Emory Hursey, of Langston Place in Southeast Washington.  Detectives are continuing to work to identify the suspect(s) in this case.  A cash reward of up to $25,000 is available for information which leads to an arrest.  Please call Crime Solvers at 1-866-411-TIPS.

The Prince George’s County Police Department is investigating a homicide in Landover.

On November 16, 2014, at about 12:30 am, patrol officers were called to the 8500 block of Landover Road for a stabbing. When they arrived, they found a man inside a banquette hall suffering from apparent stab wounds. He was taken to a hospital where he died a short time later.

The preliminary investigation reveals a party was being held at the banquette hall.  Detectives believe the victim became involved in a fight.  During the fight, the victim was stabbed.  Detectives are working to identify the suspect(s) in this case.
