Detectives Arrest Suspect Wanted for Homicide at Forestville Gas Station

Tony Singletary

A suspect is now in custody in connection with a fatal shooting at a Forestville gas station earlier this month. The suspect is 22-year-old Tony Angelo Singletary of no fixed address.

On October 5, 2015, at about 7:10 pm, patrol officers responded to the 3200 block of Walters Lane for the report of a shooting. When they arrived, they found the victim suffering from gunshot wounds inside the business. He died a short time later. The victim is 22-year-old Christopher Charles Ealey of Hil Mar Drive in Forestville.

Preliminarily, detectives believe the homicide stemmed from an ongoing dispute between the suspect and the victim.

Singletary was arrested Tuesday. He’s charged with first degree murder. He’s in custody of the Department of Corrections on a no bond status.
