PGPD Investigating Fatal Collision in District Heights

The Collision Analysis and Reconstruction Unit is investigating a fatal collision in District Heights. The collision occurred on September 3rd. The victim died of his injuries on Sunday night. The victim is 59-year-old Phillip Brooks of Croom Road in Brandywine.

On September 3rd at about 3:30 pm, patrol officers were called to the 7200 block of Beltz Drive in District Heights for a collision  involving a motorcycle.

The preliminary investigation reveals Brooks, who was on a motorcycle, was heading eastbound on Beltz Drive when he struck a truck parked alongside of the roadway. There was no driver inside of the truck.
