Suspect in Custody for Murdering His Mother in Temple Hills
Damari Lipscomb
A suspect is in custody in Pennsylvania and charged with fatally shooting his mother inside of their Temple Hills home on Thursday. The suspect is 24-year-old Damari Lipscomb. He’s charged with murdering 45-year-old Adia Lipscomb Mingo.
On December 11, 2025, at approximately 8:50 am, officers responded to the 6900 block of Westchester Court for the report of a shooting. Officers located the victim inside of her home suffering from trauma. She was pronounced dead on the scene.
Through various investigative techniques, the suspect was located in Pennsylvania. He was taken into custody with the assistance of the PGPD Fugitive Unit, the U.S. Marshals Service Capital Area Regional Fugitive Task Force and Western Pennsylvania Fugitive Task Force, Pennsylvania State Police and the Pittsburgh Bureau of Police.
The preliminary investigation suggests Lipscomb shot his mother in connection with an on-going dispute. He remains in Pennsylvania pending extradition to Prince George’s County.

PGPD Investigating Fatal Pedestrian Hit-And-Run in Seat Pleasant
The Collision Analysis and Reconstruction Unit is seeking the community’s assistance in identifying the driver and vehicle involved in a fatal pedestrian hit-and-run that occurred Thursday evening in the city of Seat Pleasant. The victim is 37-year-old Tirone Haimanchandra of Capitol Heights.
On December 11, 2025, at approximately 7:10 pm, officers with the Seat Pleasant Police Department responded to East Capitol Street approaching Davey Street for a pedestrian collision. The victim was located in the roadway. He died at the scene.
The preliminary investigation revealed the involved driver struck the victim in the westbound lanes of East Capitol Street. The driver did not remain on the scene.
The Prince George’s County Police Department investigates all fatal collisions that occur in the city of Seat Pleasant.

PGPD Investigating Fatal Shooting in Clinton
On December 9, 2025, at approximately 9:55 pm, officers responded to the 13000 block of Windbrook Drive for the report of a shooting. Once on scene, they located the victim outside suffering from a gunshot wound(s). He was taken to the hospital where he died a short time later.
Detectives are working to determine a motive and identify a suspect(s).

PGPD Investigating Fatal Shooting Inside of Business
The Prince George’s County Police Department’s Homicide Unit is actively working to determine the circumstances of a fatal shooting late Monday night inside of a business. During this incident, an armed private security guard fatally shot a patron. The deceased patron is 50-year-old Donald Wayne Hunt of Waldorf.
On December 8, 2025, at approximately 11:50 pm, officers responded to an adult establishment in the 5300 block of Sheriff Road. Officers located Hunt inside suffering from gunshot wounds. He died at the scene.
The preliminary investigation suggests the decedent was involved in a fight involving several other patrons. The security guard was alerted to the altercation. While interacting with the group of patrons, the security guard discharged his weapon, striking and killing Hunt. A second firearm, not belonging to the security guard, was recovered at the scene.
Investigators are working to determine the sequence of events leading up to the shooting. They are collecting additional evidence and conducting additional interviews. Detectives are also in consultation with the Prince George’s County State’s Attorney’s Office. At this time, there have been no charges filed in connection with this investigation.

Driver Dies of Injuries from Motor Vehicle Collision in July
The Prince George’s County Police Department’s Collision Analysis and Reconstruction Unit is investigating a now fatal crash that occurred in July of 2025 in Temple Hills. The deceased driver is 36-year-old Joseph McGainey of Brandywine. He died of his injuries on November 24, 2025.
On July 8, 2025, at approximately 11:25 am, officers responded to a two-vehicle collision in the area of St. Barnabas Road and Powhanka Place.
The preliminary investigation indicates McGainey was attempting to enter the intersection of St. Barnabas Road and Powhanka Place when his vehicle was struck by a vehicle traveling southbound on St. Barnabas Road. McGainey was taken to a hospital for life-threatening injuries. The second driver suffered injuries not considered life-threatening.

PGPD Mourns Passing of Veteran Officer
The Prince George’s County Police Department is saddened to announce the passing of Sergeant Joseph Mullendore #2966 who died last week following a hard-fought illness.
Sergeant Mullendore first joined the agency in 2006. During his nearly 20 years with the PGPD, he was assigned to Oxon Hill - District IV, the former Regional Investigation Division, the Training and Education Division and his most recent assignment in District VI – Beltsville. Prior to joining the department, he served as a police officer with the University of Maryland Police Department.
Sergeant Mullendore leaves behind his loving wife and their beloved son. In addition to his dedication to family and duty, Sgt. Mullendore loved 18th century history and music of all kinds. He enjoyed playing the guitar and banjo.
Please keep his family, fellow officers and all who knew and loved him in your thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.
