PGPD and Boy Scouts of America Have Great Success with “Community Movie Night”

Prince George’s County, Maryland…District III Community Oriented Police Service (COPS) partnered with the Boy Scouts of America last evening to host “Movie Night”.

This event was held as a part of the summer initiative in efforts to deter crime and strengthen relationships with our communities. Movie Night was held in the 3000 block of Victory Lane in Suitland at the Windsor Crossing Community Center. Over 30 residents of various age groups were in attendance of the showing.

“This is the first community movie night of the summer with a second to be held in the Suitland area in mid July. This event provided an excellent way for our citizens to interact with police and share their concerns” said Cpl. Gholston of the District III COPS Unit.
