Police Investigate Homicide on Bald Eagle Road

     The Prince George’s County Police Department’s Homicide Unit is investigating the homicide of Anton DeMichael Agurs, 43, yesterday evening in Oxon Hill, Maryland.


     On June 7, 2011 at approximately 11:28 p.m., Patrol Officers responded to Bald Eagle Road and Oxon Hill Farm Road for a report to check on the welfare of an unconscious person lying in the roadway. Upon arrival, Patrol Officers found Agurs, of the 1700 block of Gould Street in Capitol Heights, suffering from trauma to his body. He was pronounced dead on scene.

     Detectives are working to identify the suspect(s) and establish a motive in this case. The investigation is ongoing.
