Police Make Arrest in Homicide of Missing Woman and Child

Prince George’s County
Maryland…The Prince George’s County Police Department’s Homicide Unit has arrested Richmond Diallo Binns Phillips in connection with the murder of Wynetta Wright, who was reported missing earlier this week and was last seen in Temple Hills, Maryland.

Wynetta Wright, 20, was found lying in Oxon Run Stream Valley Park in the 2300 block of Oxon Run Drive suffering from trauma to the body. She was pronounced dead on the scene. Wynetta Wrights one year-old daughter, Jaylin Wright, was found abandoned in a vehicle in the 2400 block of Southern Avenue. She was also pronounced dead on the scene. Detectives developed Phillips as a suspect. Phillips was arrested and charged with one count of first-degree murder and is being held on a no bond status.
