The PGPD established the Military Support Program in early 2012 in an effort to recognize and provide outreach to those officers who provide dual service to the citizens of Prince George’s County and the country.  On August 2, 2013, the PGPD will gather resources and funding to prepare care packages for the deployed officers.  We hope to receive enough items, such as batteries, dried foods, games and cleaning supplies, to provide each deployed officer with several care packages over the coming months.

PGPD officers will be on hand to accept donations from 12:30 pm to 8:00 pm.  Cash and checks made payable to the FOP Lodge #89 with "Military Fund" noted in the memo section will also be accepted.  Members of the public are welcome to contribute.
