PGPD Arrests Public Library Burglary Suspect


Updated August 20, 2013: The Prince George's County Police Department arrested a suspect in connection with the burglary of the Largo-Kettering Public Library in Largo. 

Surveillance video helped detectives identify the juvenile suspect, who was arrested at his home on August 19, 2013 without incident.  The juvenile admitted his involvement, and now faces multiple charges related to the burglary and thefts.






The Prince George’s County Police Department is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying the suspect seen in the above surveillance photographs. He is wanted for the burglary of the Prince George’s County Public Library in the 9600 block of Capital Lane in Largo.

On both July 27, 2013 and July 30, 2013, the suspect forced his way inside the library by breaking a window and glass door.  Once inside, he stole several items including a laptop computer, headphones, and cash.
