PGPD CSI to Speak at United Nations

Prince George’s County Police Crime Scene Investigator Susan Wallish will travel to the United Nations this week to give a presentation on evidence collection.  CSI Wallish is taking part in a workshop for the People’s Global Action on Migration, Development and Human Rights.  Wallish will lend her expertise during her presentation on evidence collection from victims and crime scenes in refugee camps around the world.

“It’s a true honor that the PGPD has been asked to present at the United Nations on such an important topic.  We are confident that CSI Wallish’s presentation will have a positive impact on the lives of those unfortunately victimized in refugee camps worldwide,” said Acting Deputy Chief George Nader, Bureau of Forensic Science and Intelligence.

Wallish has worked as a CSI with the Prince George’s County Police Department for five years.  She has collected evidence at more than 650 scenes while with the PGPD.  Her presentation at the United Nations is set for Friday, October 4, 2013.
