Our Homicide Unit arrested a suspect in connection with a fatal shooting in Springdale in 2015. The suspect is 23-year-old Afolbi Ijaoba of the 3800 block of Asquith Court in Springdale.

On November 10, 2015, at about 1:00 pm, patrol officers were called to the 3700 block of Ladova Way for the report of a crash involving a single car. When they arrived, they found the crashed car unoccupied. The driver, 59-year-old Bernard Parker of Springdale, had already been taken to the hospital.
