The Collision Analysis and Reconstruction Unit has
identified the driver killed in a recent collision in
Cheverly. He is 55-year-old Mark Mobley of
Washington, D.C.
On March 20th, at approximately 12:15 am, patrol officers were called to
the 6600 block of Old Landover Road for the report of a vehicle that
had collided into a commercial building.
The
preliminary investigation revealed Mobley, who was the sole occupant in his vehicle, was
traveling southbound on Old Landover Road. For reasons that are under
investigation, he drove off the roadway and crashed into the building. The car then became engulfed in flames. Mobley
was pronounced dead on the scene. No one was inside of the building at
the time.

PGPD Identifica a Víctima en Mortal Choque Ocurrido en
Cheverly
La Unidad de Análisis y
Reconstrucción de Choques identificó al conductor que perdió la vida en un
choque ocurrido en Cheverly recientemente. Este fue identificado como Mark
Mobley, de 55 años de edad y vecino de Washington DC.
El 20 de marzo, a eso de las 12:15 am,
oficiales de patrulla acudieron a la cuadra 6600 de Old Landover Road tras
recibir información sobre un vehículo que se había estrellado contra un
edificio comercial.
La investigación preliminar reveló
que Mobley, quien era el único ocupante del vehículo, viajaba en dirección sur
sobre Old Landover Road. Por razones que aún permanecen bajo investigación, éste
se salió de la carretera chocó contra el edificio. Luego de esto, el vehículo
se prendió en fuego. A Mobley le declararon muerto en la escena. Al momento del
