Homicide Unit detectives are actively working
to identify and arrest the suspect(s) who shot and killed a man in Capitol
Heights on Saturday. The victim is 31-year-old Solomon Brown of no fixed
address.
On April 4th, at approximately
1:30 pm, officers
responded to the 800 block of Kayak Avenue for a welfare check.
Responding officers located the victim outside
suffering from gunshot wounds. He was pronounced dead on the scene.
Detectives are working to establish a motive and identify
suspect(s).

PGPD Investiga Homicidio en Capitol Heights
Detectives de la Unidad de Homicidios
buscan identificar y arrestar al sospechoso(s) que mató a tiros a un individuo
el sábado en Capitol Heights. La víctima fue identificada como Solomon Brown,
de 31 años de edad y sin domicilio establecido.
El 4 de abril, a eso de las 1:30 de
la tarde, nuestros oficiales acudieron a la cuadra 800 de Kayak Avenue para
llevar a cabo un chequeo de bienestar. Al llegar a la escena, los oficiales
hallaron a la víctima afuera con múltiples heridas de bala. A éste le declararon
muerto en la escena.
Los detectives continúan investigando
para establecer el motivo del asesinato e identificar un sospechoso(s).
