The Collision Analysis and Reconstruction Unit is
investigating a now fatal pedestrian collision in
District Heights. The collision took place on April 12, 2020. The victim died
on April 13th. The victim is 33-year-old Eric Henderson 2nd
of Bowie.
On April 12th, at approximately 8:00 pm, patrol officers were called to the 6400 block of Hil
Mar Drive for collision involving a pedestrian. The pedestrian, Henderson,
was rushed to a hospital for critical injuries. The involved driver and passenger remained on the scene.
The preliminary investigation revealed that Henderson 2nd was struck as he
crossed Hil Mar Drive. He was not in a
crosswalk at the time of the collision.

Análisis de Choques investiga un mortal choque contra peatón ocurrido en
District Heights. El choque ocurrió el 12 de abril de 2020 y la víctima murió
el día 13 de abril. La víctima fue identificada como Eric Henderson II, de 33
