Homicide
Unit detectives are actively working to identify and arrest the suspect(s) who
shot and killed a man in District Heights. The victim is 30-year-old Damario Cooper of District Heights.
Preliminarily, detectives do not believe this was a random crime.
On
April 6th, at approximately 7:40 pm, officers responded
to the 6200 block of E Hil Mar Circle for a shooting. Responding officers located
the victim outside suffering from gunshot wounds. He was pronounced dead on the
scene.
Detectives are
working to establish a motive and identify suspect(s).

PGPD Investiga Homicidio en District Heights
Detectives de la Unidad de Homicidios
buscan identificar y arrestar al sospechoso(s) que mató a tiros a un individuo en
District Heights. La víctima fue identificada como Damario Cooper, de 30 años
de edad y vecino de District Heights. De manera preliminar, los detectives
entienden que no se trata de un crimen al azar.
El 6 de abril, a eso de las 7:40 de
la noche, nuestros oficiales acudieron a la cuadra 6200 de E. Hil Mar Circle tras
recibir información sobre un tiroteo. Al llegar a la escena, los oficiales
hallaron a la víctima afuera con múltiples heridas de bala. A éste le declararon
muerto en la escena.
Los detectives continúan investigando
para establecer el motivo del asesinato e identificar un sospechoso(s).
