PGPD Investigates Fatal Shooting in District Heights

The Prince George’s County Police Department's Homicide Unit is investigating a fatal shooting that occurred Thursday in District Heights. The victim is 34-year-old Edrian Hernandez of Silver Spring. 

Patrol officers were called to the 6200 block of Hil Mar Circle East for a shooting at approximately 5:00 pm. Hernandez was located inside of a car suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. He died a short time later at the hospital. 

Detectives are working to develop suspect(s) and a motive in this case. Preliminarily, detectives do not believe this was a random crime.

PGPD Investiga Mortal Tiroteo en District Heights

La Unidad de Homicidios del Departamento de la Policía del Condado de Prince George investiga un mortal tiroteo que ocurrió el jueves en District Heights. La víctima fue identificada como Edrian Hernandez, de 34 años de edad y vecino de Silver Spring.

Varios oficiales de patrulla acudieron a la cuadra 6200 de Hil Mar Circle East tras recibir información sobre un tiroteo que ocurrió a eso de las 5:00 pm. Al llegar, los oficiales hallaron a Hernandez con múltiples heridas de bala dentro de un vehículo. Éste murió en el hospital poco después.

Nuestros detectives se encuentran investigando el incidente para identificar posibles sospechosos asi como el motivo del delito. De manera preliminar, nuestros detectives entienden que el asesinato no fue un crimen al azar.
