Detectives Investigating Fatal Shooting in Suitland

Detectives with the Homicide Unit are working to arrest the suspect(s) who shot a man on Friday evening in Suitland. The victim is 21-year-old Robert Michael Cooper III of Clinton. He died of his injuries on Saturday.

On January 15, 2021, at approximately 6:35 pm, patrol officers responded to the 2300 block of Brooks Drive for the report of a shooting. The victim was located outside suffering from a gunshot wound.  

Detectives are working to establish a motive and identify suspect(s) in the case.

Detectives Investigan Mortal Tiroteo en Suitland

Detectives de nuestra Unidad de Homicidios buscan arrestar al sospechoso que mató a tiros a un individuo el viernes en la tarde en el área de Suitland. La víctima fue identificada como Robert Michael Cooper III, de 21 años de edad y vecino de Clinton. Este murió de sus heridas el sábado.

El 15 de enero de 2021, a eso de las 6:35 pm, nuestros oficiales de patrulla acudieron a la cuadra 2300 de Brooks Drive tras recibir información sobre un tiroteo. Estos hallaron a la víctima en las afueras del área con una herida de bala.

Los detectives buscan establecer cuál fue el motivo del crimen e identificar posibles sospechosos en este caso.
