Police Obtain Warrant in Fatal Shooting in Landover

     Prince George’s County Maryland… The Prince George’s County Police Department’s Homicide Unit is investigating a shooting which left a man dead yesterday evening in Landover, Maryland.


     On January 12, 2012, at approximately 10:24 p.m., patrol officers responded to the 7700 block of Bender Road for a report of a shooting. Upon arrival, patrol officers found the victim lying inside the residence suffering from trauma to his body. The victim, identified as Brian Keith Tann, 43, of the 7700 block of Bender Road, was transported to a local hospital where he was pronounced deceased.

     The investigation revealed the incident stemmed from a dispute by two known acquaintances. Homicide detectives have obtained a first degree murder warrant in this ongoing investigation and are actively searching for the suspect at this time.
