The officer, fearing for his safety, shot the suspect with his service weapon. The suspect was shot and killed. A handgun was recovered from the scene.  The suspect who was shot and killed has been identified as 26-year-old  Michael Anthony Bailey Jr. of the 1800 block of Gould Drive, District Heights, Maryland.

He is a murderer and deserve to be procecured and my he suffer in his death the way my son did. He wouldn't even allow him to receive medical attention. He turned the ambulance away while he was still alive. He does not have the right to pronounce anybody dead, it has to come from a medical staff not a police office

This officer is not a veteran, he is a rookie. Terrence Garrett shot Michael Bailey two times and left him lying there bleeding out like an animal. He is the devil. He never called for back up and he never called the ambulance. What type of officer does this. He's trying to cover his tracks to keep his job. Reality is he needs to be punished. Thrown in jail like any other person on the street. There is no excuse to justify the death of my brother. As his family we have to information about this criminal investigation being done on this officer. We need justice and we need it now!!
