Police Investigate Murder in Lewisdale


Prince George’s County, Maryland…The Prince George’s County Police Department’s Homicide Unit is investigating the murder of 19 year-old Lester Amilcar Flores-Quintanilla in Lewisdale, Maryland.    

On March 31, 2012, at approximately 12:29 a.m., patrol officers responded to 20th and Amherst Street for the report of a shooting.  After canvassing the area, officers discovered Flores-Quintanilla lying in the 2000 block of Woodberry Street, suffering from trauma to his body.  Flores-Quintanilla, of the 100 Block of North Gordon Street, Alexandria, Virginia, was transported to a local hospital where he was pronounced dead. 

Detectives are working to identify the suspect(s) and establish a motive in this case.  The investigation is ongoing.
