The Prince George’s County Police Department’s Collision Analysis and Reconstruction Unit is investigating a fatal crash that occurred early Sunday morning in Oxon Hill. The deceased driver is 57-year-old Percell Jerome Veney Jr. of Alexandria, VA.
On October 26, 2025, at approximately 12:55 am, officers responded to a two-vehicle collision in the 6300 block of Oxon Hill Road.
The preliminary investigation indicates Veney was traveling westbound along Oxon Hill Road when, for reasons still under investigation, he crossed over into the eastbound turning lane and struck another vehicle. He died at the scene. The driver of the second involved vehicle, an adult female, was transported to the hospital where she remains in critical condition.
