The Prince George’s County Police Department’s Police Athletic League (P.A.L.) will be cooking with Timothy Dean of Top Chef Season 7 and the Timothy Dean Burger Restaurant. In April, children taking part in P.A.L. planted an herb garden that is now ready to harvest. The herbs will be used as ingredients for making pizzas.
The Harvesting Seeds of Hope program was launched to encourage healthy eating, teach plant science, stress the importance of teamwork and instill a sense of responsibility among participants.
