PGPD Searches for Suspect Wanted in Bank Robberies




The Prince George’s County Police Department is searching for a suspect wanted in two bank robberies.  The latest incident took place Thursday, September 6th, at 1:20 p.m. at the Wells Fargo Bank located in the 5800 block of Silver Hill Road in District Heights.  The suspect walked to a teller’s window, implied he had a weapon and demanded money.  The teller complied and gave the suspect an undisclosed amount of money.

The suspect is also linked to a bank robbery on August 22nd.  At 12:35 p.m., the suspect entered the M&T Bank located in the 6300 block of Kirby Road in Clinton.  In this case, he approached a teller’s window, implied he had a bomb and demanded money.  The teller gave the suspect an undisclosed amount of money.
