PGPD Investigates Attack of Elderly Man

The Prince George’s County Police Department is searching for the suspect who attacked an elderly man with a baseball bat in Colmar Manor. On Saturday, September 15th at 5:48 a.m., police officers were called to the 3800 block of Bladensburg Road for the report of an assault in progress. The investigation revealed the victim had been waiting at a bus stop when the attack occurred. While trying to rob the victim, the suspect attacked the man with a baseball bat. The suspect was last seen walking away from the area. Investigators will return to the scene Friday to pass out flyers with the suspect’s sketch. The sketch can be seen below.

Crime Solvers is offering a cash reward for tips that lead to an arrest and indictment in this case.
