Detectives Investigate Homicide in Upper Marlboro

The Prince George's County Police Department is investigating a homicide in Upper Marlboro. The victim is 37-year-old Osama El-Atari of St. George's Court in Leesburg. A reward of up to $25,000 is being offered for information leading to an arrest and indictment in this case.

On February 13, 2016, around 3:39 pm, patrol officers were called to the 9000 block of Armstrong Lane. The victim was found inside of a pickup truck suffering from a gunshot wound. He was pronounced dead on the scene.

Detectives are working to identify a motive and suspect(s) in this case.

On February 11, 2016, the victim was reported missing in Loudoun County.
